Media Buyer

The Media Buyer reports directly to the Director, Media Buying to negotiate, buy, and maintain media buys for a designated client/market list. This individual should have 2+ years of experience and a full understanding of all media executions. They are expected to handle a buying list of larger markets and aid in the development of media talent through media mentorship and training. This position requires a dedicated team player with a high level of collaboration, organization, and communication skills all while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Have a strong knowledge of digital strategy and tactics; stay on top of current digital trends and advertising opportunities
  • Negotiate, buy, and maintain fully integrated media buys
  • Maintain a growing market list across multiple verticals
  • Clear monthly discrepancies

  • Evaluate makegoods
  • Perform quarterly post buy analysis
  • Optimize campaign performance
  • Make recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media vendors
  • Keep up to date with market conditions
  • Evaluate media opportunities
  • Mentor and train members of the media department

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of media buying experience
  • Strata buying software experience is a plus
  • Programmatic and/or paid search buying experience is a plus
